yeah...that was a crushing blow for me...
I should know better than to expect articulation from McF in a Spawn line, but I was still hoping...

I could deal with it being a statue, if it was actually Covenant. Bah.

I don't deal well with statues period (how d'ya think Venus De Milo lost her arms? ), but I hear what yer sayin'.

I think there have been a few figs in the last couple lines that were off the mark as far as source material goes.

You're right guys, sometimes figures are everything but identical to the source, but as far as I'm concerned I like it this way.
Can you imagine Redeemer with those ridiculous, tiny ankles pencilled by Medina?

You can't see ball jointed necks - certainly not the kind where the joint isn't at the torso, but is up under the head. This was further highlighted for me by having the POTC Jack Sparrow in my hands at the same time as the gunslinger. Jack can look up, down, left right, tilt his head, everything, and it's not a visible or annoying joint in any way. The gunslinger is looking at his own feet, and will be forever.

I believe that in my review I will be refering to this pose as the "oh, crap, I almost stepped in that pile of shit" pose.

actualy, yes, I can.
doensn;t make it good though.

but that's a far cry from the L.Covenant thing, don'tcha think?

either way, makes no real diff to me, as I tend to avoid the statue thing, unless it's a music fig.
